Meet Our Board Members

Jared Perez- Board President

My name is Jared Perez, and I am a proud husband to Christina and father of three wonderful children—Lucia (11), Elijah (9), and Francis (7)—who attend Cascadia School in Vancouver, WA. By profession, I am a Supervisory Civil Engineer at the Bonneville Power Administration, where I have dedicated my career to public service. I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Washington and a Master’s from Portland State University. 

 My wife and I are passionate advocates of Montessori education, a journey we began when our eldest was 18 months old. Since then, we’ve embraced the Montessori philosophy through various stages—infant/toddler programs, bilingual Spanish primary education, and now the elementary level. Over the years, our belief in the Montessori method has only deepened, as we’ve witnessed our children thrive in an environment that nurtures their confidence, empathy, and curiosity. 

We are committed to ensuring that our children continue their Montessori education into adolescence and beyond. A Montessori high school in our community would be an invaluable opportunity, not only for our family but for others, to help shape individuals who approach life’s challenges with both compassion and collaboration—qualities that are increasingly essential in today’s world.

Alicia Beach - Board Member

I am first a mother to two incredible daughters, now adults, I have truly enjoyed raising them and watching them grow into wonderful young women.  My husband and I married in Maui over 6 years ago and remain in wedded bliss. We enjoy working out together, hiking, traveling, or just staying home watching a show. When not spending time with my family I am a nurse at a local Urgent Care. I love being given the chance to provide compassionate care to those in need. 

I see the value in a Montessori high school within our community because they aim to prepare students not just for academic success, but for personal growth and meaningful contributions to society.  Montessori education stresses the importance of contributing positively to society.
